When we decided to remodel a rental unit we own, I insisted we install a washer and dryer to make the unit more enticing. Unfortunately we didn't have the room or means to create a laundry room. We were, however, able to relocate the water heater from an enclosed area and make that into a small closet to house a stacking washer/dryer. We chose this Whirlpool Thin Twin stacked washer/dryer and couldn't be happier with our choice! The unit is well made and has given my renter no problems at all. In fact, I have heard from her that she is considering a stacking unit when her new home is built. The unit does not have a lot of frills, but it has a decent capacity and cleans and dries clothes efficiently. I used this unit before we finished the rental remodel to save me carrying home our dirtied work clothes. It worked every bit as well as my regular free standing washer and dryer at my home! This unit has now been in our rental for nearly 2 1/2 years and has never failed to work. We purchased a maintenance contract for it when we bought it because we weren't 100% sure it would hold up, but now wish we hadn't bothered with it. Whirlpool has made a durable, dependable and convenient unit with this Thin Twin Stacked Washer/Dryer.

I have this washer and dryer in the apartment we are temporarily renting, and I really am pleased with it. We are a family of six and make a lot of dirty laundry, and I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of clothing it will hold. It doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles, but it gets the job done. I have done queen size bedding in it, but not any bedspreads. As background, I previously was using a set of Maytag front load high efficiency units, or as I like to call them "inefficiency" units. It has been wonderful using a washing machine that actually uses water to wash my clothes again. My kids are fascinated (lol).

We bought the Whirlpool stacked washer and dryer to go in a small space in our mother-and-law suite.  We were more than happy with our purchase.  A very simple, non fancy machine.  I liked it better for the suite because it was very cut and dry. Very simple knobs and no fancy buttons or lights.  The washer and dryer stack beautifully on top of one another so its great for small spaces.  It can also be installed in closets or small laundry rooms.  The set was very easy to install, went in with ease. It is also very energy efficient. Our power bill went down a bit after this install, though the machines we had before were very old and took alot of power to operate.  The dryer gets super hot and dries very fast. The washing machine is top load which I like better in limited space. It washing very well and I have even seen this machine in condos we have rented for vacations. I absolutely love this Whirlpool combo and would recommend it to anyone. Great buy.

I am writing this review of the **Whirlpool Top Load Stacked Washer / Dryer WET3300S **on behalf of my sister. She just got this washer and dryer a few months ago for her tiny cramped apartment in New York City, and she absolutely loves it! It is so tiny and so convenient to use, particularly because she stuffed it into one of the larger closets she has in her apartment. Her only complaint is that because it is a top load washer, it is not as energy efficient as a front loading one is - and she's a huge pro-enviornment person. She just could not find a better priced or better sized washer and dryer for her apartment. She highly recommends this for people who are also living in tiny apartments, although she is hoping that she will soon be able to find a front loading washer and dryer that has the same nice-sized characteristics that this Whirlpool one does! She thinks she will be living in her current apartment for a while, so she trusts in this one!

This thing ruined my clothing! I complained to resident services at my apartment and am waiting for them to replace it with a different washer/dryer. I just moved in, so I don't know how old this washer/dryer is, but that might be the problem. It tears my clothing and makes the fabric fuzzy instead of smooth.

The Whirlpool Wet3300S Top Load Stacked Washer/Dryer does a wonderful job of getting your clothes clean. It's large capacity size can handle just about anything,yet it doesn't take up a whole lot of floor space, which is wonderful if you live somewhere small. It's also very well made, I've had mine for about 6 years and it's still going strong! If you're looking to buy a washer and dryer you can't go wrong with this unit, no matter how much space you have!

I am very satisfied with how quickly the wash cycles are and my clothes still come out clean. The dryer, even on it's most high powered setting, doesn't seem to get my clothes dry the first time which is a disappoint but my loads may also be a little large for this specific washer/dryer unit. Overall the Whirlpool WET 3300s is a good unit. I wish the basin in the washer were larger... there seems to be more room in the dryer. There is very little noise from the dryer and even a feature on there that lets you choose whether or not you want the buzz sound at the end which I like for when doing late night loads. I have noticed that the container for fabric softeners tends to want to come loose during the wash cycle and gets tossed around a bit and that makes a terrible racket but is an easy fix. Another feature that I really enjoy is the cover over the top of the lint trap so when you pull out the lint net leftover doesn't fall out everywhere. I am satisfied with this product and would recommend it if you have a small are to do laundry in.

i think for many moms the problem these days is finding space to put things,with all the stuff kids have including your own there's never enough room for anything.atleast with the whirlpool washer dryer duo its space convienient,it wont take up your whole kithchen trying to find a place to put the dryer ,its already attached big space saver i recomend it ,the only down side to it is its not energy efficient,so electric will be more than usual ,other than that great product.
