I have had this washer for approximately one year. I purchased it when I moved into my apartment. I have nothing, but good things to say about this washer. It was inexpensive, it provides quality cleaning, and is easy to use. Energy Efficiency I have not noticed a significant change in my electric bill due to running the washer. Cleaning Time This washer takes about an hour and fifteen minutes to do one extra large load of laundry with a double rinse. I do not think this is bad at all. I can get a load of laundry done in two hours if I stay on top of it. Performance I think this washer does an excellent job removing stains, keeping colors bright, and freshening the clothes. I have never had any issues with getting a stain out of my son's clothes, the colors stay turn on the clothes, and my clothes look, feel, and smell clean. Ease of Use This washer is very easy to use. It has a knob for the size of the load. It has a knob for rinse/extra rinse. It has a knob for cycle preference. I like the fact that you can double rinse your clothes after using fabric softener as my son as very sensitive skin and I want to make sure all of the detergent and fabric softener is removed before he wears the clothes. Design The design is simplistic which I really like. You have your knobs on the back and the top loader is easy to use. It is plain, but I like it. Durability I have had no issues with my washer in the year that I have owned it. i do approximately six loads a laundry per week so my washer gets a lot of use.

We bought this from best buy in feburay 2010 and the dryer also.  Great price and works great!  My clothes wash and dry quickly and I love it! Energy Efficiency do not take much energy to run and is very quick. Cleaning Time Quick cleaning time. Performance Good but could be a little better Ease of Use Very easy to use , a child can use it by themselves. Design Nice design but plain. Durability Very durable .

If noise is an issue at your house, stay away from this Whirlpool series. I was appalled when running the first load at the noise level, so called the dealer. They said, oh, yes, that's a transmission issue so they replaced it. It did not help the noise at all. Others have said it's a little bit noisy, no, it's a LOT noisy. When stating it's too noisy, I'm saying you have to talk louder or turn up the tv to hear in the next room. I purchased this one because of the claim of saving water, similar to a front loader. I've had the machine about 6 months, and it still is so irritating. The warranty is almost non-existent, so I purchased an extended warranty. It will never, ever last as long as my Maytag.

**Whirlpool 3.2 cu. ft. Super Capacity Plus Top-Load Washer works great. I just wanted to let you know that I love mine. I wouldn't take anything for it. Out of all the washing machines I have ever used, this one ranks at the top. It cleans all types of clothes, and the washing time isn't much compared to what I have been used to. I have no problems with it, and I have had it for a very long time. I love Whirlpool products, and I think they really do rank at the top of the list of best washing machines. In fact, the ones I have ever owned, NEVER had any repair records! They just "died," but only when they were like "fossils." LOL. This washing machine is super inexpensive, lasts forever, and hold a lot of clothes. I suppose I can nickname this one "fossil" so it can live up to its name. LOL**

We used to have this Whirlpool Super Capacity Top Load Washer, but have since upgraded to a much better machine. This machine was constantly rocking and shaking no matter how we tried to stablize it. The floor is comletely flat underneath, but the machine is really noisy and always shakes a lot. It seemed to move across the floor a few inches every time we used it. The washer does hold a large load, but still seems to use the same amount of water even if you do a small load. There are the normal machine settings and they all work fine. The buzzer for when washing is finished is really loud, so you will definitely be able to hear it anywhere in your home. Overall I would say skip this machine and go with a better model.

The Whirlpool 3.2 cu. ft. Super Capacity Plus Top-Load Washer really works great and is highly recommended. It really deserves the five stars I just gave it and then some. We ahve ben very pleased and impressed with this purchase. Out of all the washing machines we have ever used or owned, this one works better. It *is *the best for us and probably the best for you. It is a bigger washer than most, and it is a quiet machine. We have had it for a long time so we really feel qualified to write this review about it. This machine performs really well, and Consumer Reports has rated it among the very best. We feel we made a fantastic purchase when we got this washing machine. We dread the day when it "dies," but we do expect it to last us for many, many more years because Whirlpool knows its stuff.

This is an overall good washing machine. It is not to expensive which is part of the reason I bought this one since the front load washing machines are very expensive. It holds a lot of laundry which is a big improvement over my last washing machine. So far it has not had any problems but I've only had it for about two years. This Whirpool is very easy to use and there is nothing complicated about it. The appearance of the washing machine is fine but it really does not matter to me because I keep it in the basement where no one even sees it. Therefore the noise of the machine doesn't really affect me either but I do find it not that loud. I give it four stars because it is a good washing machine for the price but it clearly isn't anything fancy.

The whirlpool three-point-two cubic feet super capacity plus top-load washer is the washer to have in your laundry room!!! it has a very large capacity so you can stuff all of your week's worth of clothes in just one load!!! it is very inexpensive so it is affordable to any person, any budget... some of the stuff that i do not like about this washer, is that it is a little noisey when washing clothes, other than that i am really satisfied with it...if you were to ask me what i would rate this washer on a scale of one to ten, i would totally rate it a nine, all they way!!!! i would totally reccommend this whirlpool washer to all of my friends, all of my family members, and to all of my co-workers because, well, this is beyond good, it is a great product!!!

This appliance has been a great investment for our family. My parents bought it a couple years ago, and it still works wonders. I love the job it does when washing our clothes, and the cycle does not take hours to run. My clothes get so clean whenever I use it. Whenever I come home from college, the first thing I do when I come home is throw a load into the washer, and then within an hour later move it to the dryer. Clothes come out nice and clean, especially compared to the washers up at my college. Luckily, it does not eat socks or other smaller items :-D. It also has a high capacity, so I can put an entire weeks worth of jeans in the washer at one time and they all come out clean. With this washer I am able to wash up to 2 weeks worth of clothes in just two loads, when normally it would take me three or even four. It was also a great value for the price. Make sure to look out for sales. I would recommend this washing machine to anyone in the market. It might not be as fancy as some of the newer front load washers, but sure it does do a great job for the price!
