Great Simple Washer!

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

We bought this washer a few years ago. My old one died and I need a washer that would work but wasn't too expensive. This is what I ended up with. It have worked great for us. It has been repaired twice but it was due to a faulty plastic piece that connects the drum to the motor, so it wouldn't spin. The store fixed it the first time and replaced plastic with plastic. The second time, we paid $30 and bought a metal part to replace it. It was simple fix that my husband was able to do.

This machine holds good size loads but you can over fill it and the drum will certainly become off balance. You just have to watch it. It also offers a ton of different load settings. I use only a ...

Very nice Whirlpool Washer!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I personally think that this whirlpool washer is very nice. IT does all of my jobs correctly and cleans my clothes easily and effectively. Stains are no longer there nowadays and now doing laundry is a lot more easy. I can now go along my day without worrying about washing clothes for myself before I go to work and college. This is a must have for any parent, teen or college who spends lots of time working to wash their clothes. Personally, I think it is worth the price. It has many cycle choices and the interface is very nice. It holds a lot in one load and the color white is very attractive in any type of room. It is not very energy efficient but it pays for it by holding the amount it has in it's load. Now, I am a very happy shopper and would buy another of these. I hope that in the future this whirlpool washer will last me a long time. Thank you very much for reading my review. Have an nice day!

I have had to have the washer repaired a little over a year old. Not happy with whirlpool lately.

I am a big fan of Whirlpool appliances. I own several of them Anyway, my Whirlpool WTW5600SQ Top Load Washer is great. It gets quite a bit of use. My daughter uses it for her family of 4 and my son uses it also, and of course I use it for me and my husband. So this machine works hard. I really like all the settings on it. It has a setting of hand wash, which I use quite a bit. It is a very large capacity washer also, which is what we need in this family. I had a little problem with it a little after a year. I called whirlpool and they extended my warranty for 6 months. It has now been a year since that occured, and (knock wood) I haven't had a problem since. I like that Whirlpool stands by their products. It is a good sturdy machine.

Whirlpool Super Capacity Top Load Washer

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I have been using my Whirlpool Super Capacity Washer for between 5 and 10 years now. It's been a wonderful appliance. Because of it's deep drum, it holds a lot of laundry. Since I'm on the short side, it can be troublesome for me to reach smaller articles, like socks, from the bottom. The washer holds an unbelievable amount of towels. When my son brings his laundry home from college, he's been known to wash 20 T-shirts, five pairs of boxers and numerous socks all in one load. The cleaning capacity is also excellent. Clothes come out looking great. I like the chance to choose between heavy duty loads, extended cycles and also short washes. The machine stays odor-free and looks like n...

Whirlpool Super Capacity Top Load Washer

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

Whirlpool Super Capacity Top Load Washer is a wonderful washing machine. As with goes without saying, all washing machines are not created equal. This washing machine is not expensive and is big. After using this for a while, I got to thinking that we really should have paid more for this than what we did. It wasn't on sale, and we didn't even get a discount. That was planned because it's something that *never *happens in our house. We plan all purchases. With major purchases such as this, we always research a lot (which we did), but we also shop in stores and try to get the best price foe the particular machine we want. But we needed it, and our schedule was such if we didn't purchase it right away, we'd have to get it weeks later. So we just got it after we did our research. Believe me, this has been a super unbelieveable purchase. We love it.

Great Washer

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I have had this washer for several years and it has been a good washer. The large capacity size makes it wonderful to do large loads of laundry. You can wash several pairs of jeans at one time. It has a bleach and fabric softener dispenser. It also has several different cycle options for delicate clothes, etc. This washer seems to do a good job cleaning clothes and I haven't had any problems with it. My only complaint is that there is a spot of paint starting to come off but like I said I have had this for several years and this is probably just normal wear. The thing I really like about this machine is the large capacity basket but the size of the washer is about the same as any washer. It has been a good washer and I would definitely recommend it to others.

Does its job well. This Whirlpool Top Loader is great.

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I've had this washer for a while now. In short, it does a great job at what it does.

First, the good things about this appliance. It doesn't make too much noise, it's more energy efficent compared to my last washer, and it cleans my clothes well. I'm glad that my clothes don't shrink from using it. In addition, it has lots of settings, so you can furthermore save yourself from using too much water.

There are a few little cons. I don't like the color, but normally white is the only one you can buy in this price range. Also, it can be a bit difficult to reach the bottom of it, but this is probably more or less not even an issue for the majority of people out there.

Whirlpool is a solid brand, and they've been improving constantly. I recommend this washer.

Whirlpool Super Capacity Washer A Clean Machine

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I purchased the Whirlpool Super Capacity Top Load Washer WTW5600VQ because my other washing machine went out and I had to get another one right away. This one was on sale so I picked it but was not sure it was going to be exactly what I wanted. To my pleasant surprise, it has been awesome. It is nice looking and works great. It holds a good amount and always gets the clothes very clean. It is quite as well. I have no complaints on this washer and am happy to recommend this product to others. The price was great as it was on sale from an already great price. It has all the settings I need and then some. For the price and what my needs are, I have found this to be an excellent washing machine and love it!

Love my Whirlpool Washer

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I love this washing machine! This is a very reasonably priced washer and I love the way it cleans my clothes efficiently. I wash a lot and it keeps up with all my demands day in and day out with ease. I personally like the top load washers and Whirlpool's design is simply to use and straight forward. The best thing about this washer is the speed at which my clothes get washed as well as the cleanliness and reliability of the washer to work when I need it to. I have had so many family members that have gone through washers and dryers every 2 years and mine is pushing five years and still going strong. Overall I feel that Whirlpool is a top of the line washer because of it's reliability and economic price range!

I love my Whirlpool!

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I got my Whirlpool seven years ago. I had been using laundrymats before that, so I was happy to just have a washer and dryer. I chose Whirlpool because it was less expensive than some others at that time, and I'm always looking for a deal. I got one! I've never had problems with it, it does a great job, and I like the way my washes come out. I am happy with the cycle choices, the size of load choices, and the bleach and fabric softener dispensers always work well. It's white, but it's easy to keep clean. We moved in December, and it handled the move well. The place where we moved to already had a washer and dryer, and actually it was a newer model than my Whirlpool, but I had them move it and the dryer out, because I wasn't willing to give up my machines. I have noticed over the years that Whirlpool products have always done well my me, and this washer is no exception. I would highly recommend Whirlpool for washers, dryers and other appliances that they make. I love my Whirlpool!!!

So easy my husband can do laundry!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

We bought this washing machine before we were married, and we needed something simple that my husband could use without much thought. He wasn't impressed with all the other washing machines with tons of knobs, bells and whistles. The salesperson directed us to this simple machine, and I'm really glad too! You can adjust the size of the load to conserve water and detergent, and you can choose to use cold water. We couldn't be happier with this machine we've had it for 7 years now with out any problems. The super capacity really helps save time by being able to wash more clothes in fewer loads. My husband likes to overstuff the washer, so our machine has been used and abused, but keeps on going to my amazement! Great machine! I would buy it again.

Let's hear it for the washer!

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

When the hubby and I recently moved into our house, we needed to buy a washer and a dryer. After all, I was done with the days of going to the laundramat. I was looking for a washing machine that had a huge capacity as my daughter and hubby always end up with a huge pile of clothes at the end of the week. This one caught my eye because it was on sale. Upon further inspection, I noticed it had everything that I needed. It had a huge capacity and has many cycle choices. Once we lugged it home, I had a pile of laundry waiting to be washed. I was able to fit two not one but two full baskets of dirty laundry into the machine. There were so many cycle choices I wanted o try them all. I fe...

Huge capacity Washer

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I love this washer as it can take huge loads. I almost do laundry on a weekly basis because of this washer. It is installed easily with water faucet attachments, drain and a power plug. I have never experienced a leak in this. It can be a little noisy at times but at least it washes the clothes clean. The tumbler is well fitted and does not eat up little clothes like socks. There is a setting for cold, hot and warm wash. There is also a setting for small, medium or large loads which help save water and energy. On the main dial there are way too many options. I had to read thru the manual to understand each function and am still not clear. I mostly use 2 or 3 of those settings only. The washer also has a bleach dispenser which lets in the bleach at an apropriate time of the cycle.

Such a happy Mom!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

We recently had to replace "old reliable"--our washer that gave up the ghost after 5 years. Laundry for a household with three boys and a husband who rivals them for dirty laundry is always a challenge. Add to that the fact that they also are involved with sports and that we have a small stream on the property--well, you can only imagine.

I was determined to find a washer that was up to all this and was also a high efficiency/energy saving model.

Thankfully, after much research on what was available, I chose this washer. Not only does it live up to the high efficiency requirement but it has also cut down the number of loads of laundry from 10/week to 5/wk. The clothes are awesomely clean --many stains I had to pre-treat now come out too--but it also has cut down on dryer time. I would highly reccomend this washer to any active family.

Whirlpool Works Great!

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I purchased this washer along with a matching dryer about 2 years ago and it is still working great! Whirlpool is a strong brand and my wife and I knew this would be a washer we could have for years. It has all the different settings for all your clothing types, delicate, casual, heavy, and towels. The washer can even safely and efficiently clean our comforters that say dry clean only without destroying them! This saves us about $42 every time we want to wash comforters. The washer can hold a TON of clothes at once, which is great because no matter what load size you choose, most washers end up using the same amount of water and electricity anyway, so you might as well fill it up. While my m...
