The non-energy efficient dishwasher

Brand new home with like appliances - that unfortunately "came with" the home.  We opted for a black top, stainless steel DW in an ENERGY STAR certified home, and this is truly disappointing for a DW.  Though it may very well be energy efficient, it runs through TONS of cycles and uses TONS of water. ...

Not quiet but it does a good job.

We had a dishwahser that finally broke down and we bought the Whirlpool Quiet Partner III. It says it's quiet but it's not. Other than that I think it does a fine job cleaning dishes. You don't need to wash them then put them through the dishwasher. I like it.

We love our Quiet Partner III.  I like how I can load dishes tightly, getting lots in, particularly bowls one after another without leaving spaces between them.  It cleans pans well and silverware thoroughly, and my family's always overpacking the silverware. I love that the silverware basket can be placed in the door or on the front of the lower rack.  I also enjoy being able to tell easily when I need to add a rinse agent.  The upper rack raises and lowers, which is convenient.  There are other accessories, but we're pretty basic.
