Whirlpool self cleaning Super Capacity 465 Stove:

Compared to high end home ranges, this one is very favorable for the money (about $800 vs. $1500 for the same 'features'); however,

>although the burners have differing BTU outputs, all the pot grills are the same size--so balancing several various sized pots can be difficult;

>cleaning this oven is hard:  the wells under the pot grills are deep with double lips for spill overs--the stove top requires a lot of scrubbing to stay clean;

>the backsplash is not removeable--cleaning around the spill lip requires a lot of time, patience, and a butter knife to 'get in there';

>the stove top does not lift up--who knows what gunk lurks under there?!!

The large capacity oven comes with 3 oven racks and is large enough to cook a 30-lb turkey (if you can find one :-) with room for up to 5 additional side dishes.

EXCEPT for the cleaning factor, this range is good quality and value for the money--but the cleaning--oy vey!!
