We bought this Calypso washer because it didn't have the agitator and could wash large loads and big blankets. It started out good, then I started noticing my whites having funny stains on them. It has ruined more white shirts then I can count. My kids won't even buy white clothes any more knowing the machine will ruin them.  It also has that musty smell from the water that doesn't drain out of the holding tub in the bottom of the washer. I did find that if you add bleach to any load possible it helps with the smell.  I also have the calypso dryer and I do like it. I had a repairman out to fix the washer and he said I would have been better off buying a inexpensive regular washer because evryone that has a Calypso hates them.
