The Whirlpool Gold Ultimate Care II is the best washer yet!

This washing machine is one of the best! I have always had good luck with Whirlpool products - but this one exceeded my expectations. Many top loaders are prone to tangle clothes - but this one does not. It does a very good job getting really dirty clothes clean!

deya-i am having the same problem-how did you fix, what was the broken part and did you need a repair man or could you do yourself?

No - I would not be happy with Whirlpool if I had had that experience. Guess I have really been lucky as I have bought many Whirlpool washers and dryers and have had very good luck - knock on wood. Sounds like you have a real problem with that washer!

I was happy with the washer until it stopped agitating only 7months after I started to use it. I am in the military and baought the washer and dryer set new. When I deployed, my things went to storage and when I came back and used it for seven months, the machine stopped agitating. It either would not start the cycle after filling the bowl or agitate. Even though the part to fix this problem is fairly inexpensive, how can Whirlpool claim this is the best machine yet?
