this is a great fridge. it has very accurate tepurature controls that are easy to read and to adjust. it is a counter depth fridge that fits perfectly under our above fridge cabinet and doesn't totally stick out from the cabinets it is next to. the one major drawback i have with this model is the ice-maker. we have had to remove the entire ice- maker three times since we have owned this fridge in the last eight months. the ice-maker seems to get "clogged" or "frozen"  and it won't dispense ice. when this happens, we have also had to remove the ice by hand in order to pour warm water in the ice...

This refrigerator and freezer offer a lot of space and the glass shelves are easy to keep clean.  I especially like the space offered on the door of the refrigerator.  The exterior does show finger prints and is hard to keep clean.

Overall, I would recommend this model to anyone.

I have never owned a bottom freezer refrigerator until I purchased this one about a year ago.  I really do love that the level that I use the most is the most accessible.  It just makes since.  My grandmother told me that when the freezer was introducded to the refrigerator as a combination, the freezer was at the bottom.  I really don't know when the freezer was first put at the top. but I do think that was a mistake.  I was hoping, tho, that the freezer would have more space inside. We moved into our home and bought a refrigerator/freezer for our new home. A few months later we welcomed our firstborn home. The second day of being home, our new refrigerator broke. My Whirlpool is such a great wonder.  I have had a side-by-side for a few years and this put it to shame.  Great function and uses less energy.
