Whirlpool Gold Quiet Partner III Reviews

The Whirlpool Gold Quiet partner is a very good dishwasher.  I have to say that I like the way that the compartments are arranged inside.  It has a stylish looking exterior that only enhances the look of the kitchen.  I can't say that i know the horse power of the unit, although it is a energy star product, which I am pleased about.  I feel that the Whirlppol Gold has the power to give your dishes a good cleaning.  I have yet to have a problem of any finding any residue on anything that I have put in the dishwasher. That was a problem I had with my previous dishwasher. The Whirlpool Gold...

We're two guys that want to pretend momis still cleaning up after us, and fortunately this dishwasher does! I laughed when I saw the words 'quiet partner' on the front, because isn't isnt THAt quiet. I guess I've heard louder, but my Kenmore front loading washing machine is realllllly silent. I guess I was surprised to read any negative reviews because this machine was here when we moved in and has been great the whole time! I run an empty load every month or so with vinegar in it to descale....but only because my mom told me so. Maybe some other people would be happier if they did too!

I purchased a new Quiet Partner III dishwasher from my local Sears in December of 2008.  By the 4th load I had a flashing clean light (requires service).  The service person has been to my home 2 times already and has replaced the main control board.  The problem persists with no resolution in site.

Further, the fancy rack system in the dishwasher was missing clips which Sears wanted to charge me to replace. 

I just purchased the Quiet Partner III.  I wished I had not.  It is quiet for a reason and the reason is not because of superior sound dampening.  The reason it is so quiet is because the pump is next door to worthless.  It is a poor pump that barely squirts water.  To get around this, they run the cycle longer... much longer.  The idea is, that given enough time, the moisture on the dishes will soften any food and clean them.  If you have any stubborn food, it will be there after the cycle ends... (usually 2-3 hours later... NO exaggeration!)

The insulation package was very poor; it didn't...
