I LOVE my whirlpool Gold Series Dishwasher! - I had looked into Maytag, and Amana, and Kenmore as well.  When I looked at all the features and compared prices the Whirlpool Gold was the practical choice since I use it 1-2 times a day and it does a great job, have not had any sort of problems and love the durability and choices for washing each time.

I have a Whirlpool Gold dishwasher. I am like most women and love my dishwasher. I can remember not having a dishwasher and thought that was not a big deal. I was happy washing my own dishes. But once you have a dishwasher, that is that! I use my dishwasher on a daily basis. I love the fact that it is quiet, holds a lot of dishes. I especially love the fact that my utensil basket is on the front of my door and not in my rack or drawer. My daughter has a very nice dishwasher, but it does not have the door utensil rack. I love this dishwasher! I searched high and low for one that would perform as well as my old portable one did. So many of the ones we looked at had great owner reviews, but they all talked more about looks than performance. A friend bought this one and fell in love with it. Knowing that we have similar standards, I bought this one too. It is wonderful! No more scrubbing my dishes prior to washing or finding odd bits of food residue left on my dishes. This dishwasher seems to literally BLAST the dishes clean.

The only downside to this, and it's not so extreme that it really bothers me but it might bother...

I have all matching Whirlpool Gold appliances in my kitchen (range, over-range microwave, dishwasher, and refrigerator) and they have been great. My range is a glass top electric with a convection oven, my microwave is their top of the line with the speed cook option, my dishwasher has the "power scour" option, and my fridge is a french-door style. Really, my favorite appliance is the dishwasher, the power scour option is great for skillets and pans. The range works really well and is easy to clean and the microwave is a microwave and gets the job done. Everything looks and works great.

It has some of the best features on the market and is FAMOUS for lasting a life time. Whirlpools manufacturers warentee is excellent, but in most cases really isnt needed as Whirlpool's products are neer indestructable. I absolutily love the built in garbage disposal, that was my BIGGEST complaint with my old dishwasher, was even though you had already rised the plate and utencils off the drain hose would STILL get clogged up over time. Me and my room mate for about 3 months had to hand wash our dishes because the hose was clogged. Even after...

I believe the Whirlpool dishwasher to be the best brand of dishwasher because I have always owned one.  It has always been very dependable.  I think that they have come a long way with technology with their machines.  When the time arises, I will update the one I already have.  It is very innovative, give the Whirlpool Gold a try,  You'll ove it.  Thank you.
