When I purchased my new home, I started researching refrigerators.  I knew that I wanted the bottom freezer with the french doors.  I looked at several before I purchased the Whirlpool GX5.  It is very well made, and the design is very user friendly.  My degree is in Industrial Technology, so I am very conscientious as to how things are made.  I feel that this fridge will last me a long time.  The only thing that I would change would be the bottom meat tray door - instead of being one solid door, I would have it where a partial part of the door could open or the entire door.
