Whirlpool GC3SHEXN Side by Side Refrigerator Reviews

I chose the Whirlpool GC3SHEXN built-in refrigerator based on two main reasons: good product reviews of value-for-dollar, and the ice bucket in the door.  Our old Frigidaire side-by-side had an awkward top-shelf ice-cube maker with a brick-shaped bin that was difficult to remove.  After a few summers of removing it to dump the ice into a travel cooler, the cover was cracked and broken.  This new style makes it easy to just lift and pour - we love it!  But the unexpected bonus to me was the black handles. Every one of my friends whines about having to wipe off smudges and fingerprints...

When we bought our new home my husband purchased this refrigerator.  I love the refrigerator.  I noticed last night that it even has and indicator light that shows when the water filter needs replacing. I didn't even know that it had a water filter.

I also love the fact that there is a lock on the water and ice dispenser.  This comes in handy when the grandchildren are visiting, since they are just learning to walk and grab everything they can get their hands on.

The way the drawers and shelves slide out make it so convenient to reach some of the items in the back without having to move everything...

My Whirlpool side-by-side refirgerator/freezer came with my house so I can't really say what kind of value it is for the money.  It's a pretty good refrigerator.  It has two drawers in the bottom, one of which you can adjust the coolness levels for either meat or vegetables, which is a great feature for me.  All the shelves are glass and very easy to remove for cleaning.  Actually, everything pops out and in very easily for cleaning...that used to be a job I hated to do, but do it pretty often now since it is so easy.  The door has lots and lots of space to put things.  The refrigerator part...

I purchased the refrigerator three years ago and it is still working quite well. I have had absolutely no problems. I love the glass shelves; if you accidentally spill something, it does not spread to the lower shelves. The wide door shelves are also convenient for beverages. I have a small kitchen, so depth was an important consideration. Reliability was also an issue; I wanted a fridge that would last forever (or as close to forever as possible). I did not want to have to go shopping for a new one in 2 years.

Whirlpool always makes a good product I know that they have been in business for almost 100 years .  I believe that whirlpool started out making washer/dryers.  Well trust your instincts they have done it again.  This is a fun refridgerator.  I like the vegatable crisper area,  which is neglected whenever there is an indoor ice maker.  Anyway,they crisper inside the refridgerated section of the whole sysyem is big and very easily accessible,  but the thing that really got me was that there is a frozen food (pizza,burritos) section built in this refridgerator.  They really thought of everything...

The Whirlpool GC3SHEXN Side by Side Refrigerator is without a doubt the best looking appliance I have seen in a long time.  With all the features this product has more than ample room on both sides for the largest family needs.

With removable glass shelves cleaning is a breeze and spills are contained to that shelf, no dripping mess hall the way down.  With 3 door compartments with covers and adjustable shelves can hold anything from a jar of cavier to a gallon of milk.

The freezer side has an icemaker with door dispensers for water and ice, and the door shelfs will hold a 15 pound turkey easily--which...

i really enjoy my new refrigerator my landlord briught me over right when i first moved in to my new place only 2 doors down from old place and i had the old fashoined ice box the small old fashioned i say does not defrost ..This one doesn't need it done had it for over 6 moths havent had to yet ..its frost free lol I love my ice machine crushed or whole Mkkes my pop so much more delicious and i have so much room to put in freezer and refrigerator ..I t also saves on my electric bill as well ..So get this one you will love it just as much as i do mine !!!!

I LIKE A STRONG AND RELIABLE PRODUCT THAT COULD LAST LONG , SOMETHING THAT COULD WITHSTAND  CHILDREN AND A HUNGRY MAN , WHIRLPOOL HAS BEEN AROUND FOR A VERY LONG TIME AND CAN WETHER THE STORM I'AM VERY PLEASE WITH ALL OF THEIR PRODUCTS AND WILL MAKE A NEW FRIDGE MADE BY WHIRLPOOL  MY NEXT PURCHASE

I really love this black side by side fridge/freezer. I love all the space and its very rommy. I love that the door can handle the items I need top put in there. The freezer is huge, I love the sapce, compared to a top frezzer.

I bought a new fridge with an ice maker and water dispenser. I was pleased with the easy shelf removal for cleanimg. It has been generally a very good addition to my appliances.
