Whirlpool GC3SHEXN Side by Side Refrigerator Review

My Whirlpool side-by-side refirgerator/freezer came with my house so I can't really say what kind of value it is for the money.  It's a pretty good refrigerator.  It has two drawers in the bottom, one of which you can adjust the coolness levels for either meat or vegetables, which is a great feature for me.  All the shelves are glass and very easy to remove for cleaning.  Actually, everything pops out and in very easily for cleaning...that used to be a job I hated to do, but do it pretty often now since it is so easy.  The door has lots and lots of space to put things.  The refrigerator part of this is probably my favorite part...good bit of space, easy to clean, and adjustable.  It's the freezer part that i'm not that enthusiastic about.  Absolutely no space!  If you have a big turkey or ham you can forget putting it in there.  And the spaces in the door to store things are like 2 inches wide.  I do my grocery shopping every two weeks and I can never fit all my frozen goods in there.  Thanks goodness my grandfather gave us a small chest freezer!  Oh, and the ice maker broke about 6 months after we got it.
