Whirlpool GC3SHEXN Side by Side Refrigerator Review

I purchased the refrigerator three years ago and it is still working quite well. I have had absolutely no problems. I love the glass shelves; if you accidentally spill something, it does not spread to the lower shelves. The wide door shelves are also convenient for beverages. I have a small kitchen, so depth was an important consideration. Reliability was also an issue; I wanted a fridge that would last forever (or as close to forever as possible). I did not want to have to go shopping for a new one in 2 years.
When I first thought of buying a new refrigerator, I spent about 6 months researching the matter (i.e. looking at reviews on websites, interviewing appliance salespeople, reading defect ratings, etc...), and given that I needed a counter depth model, everything pointed to this product. I was a little hesitant at first in deciding to purchase it because of the cost, but I really think it was worth it. Unlike other appliances in my kitchen which have problems that require my attention and need to be tended to, I do not even think about my fridge. I absolutely love it. It is expensive, but you get what you pay for.
