Whirlpool Duet Washer - Front Load —

Whirlpool Duet Steam WFW 9500 TW 01, front loading washer only 1 1/2 years old - We travel a lot so we have not used this machine much since we purchased it.  It started showing Suds light but it worked for a while then F35 error code started.  I unplugged the machine, plugged it back in as the Whirlpool website recommended and it worked that way a couple of times.  Now it's not working at all.  I had other top loading washers and they lasted almost 10 years without problems.  This is my first front loading machine.  I wish I could get the old one back.

I had it professionally serviced and it was the pressure switch problem. I tried to locate the pressure switch base on various help websites but was not successful. It turns out the prossure switch for my washer model was not the same as the ones shown on the help sites. The washer is working fine now and I am holding my breath. I can buy 3 years extended warranty for about $350 for both washer & dryer from a company referred by Whirpool customer service. I am still considering it. I don't usually believe in the extended warranties, never had to have one for other washer/dryers I owned when the machines were made to last. Thanks for your comment.

we have the same problem on our 18 month old duet w/steam - apparetnly it's the 'analog pressure control switch' - google this as it is supposed to be an easy DIY fix if you didn't get the extended warranty (I did)
