Jeans still get twisted, cycles are extremely long, cycle time can be deceiving

I bought my duet set about a year and a half ago. In the third week of operation, one of the agitator blades on the side of the washer drum broke off! I'm not rough on things. In fact, I was putting in less than the recommended capacity of laundry. The automated repair line for Whirlpool was awful. It was going to take something like 3 weeks for someone to come out. So, three weeks after spending $1,000 on a washer, I had to drag all my laundry to the laundromat! Frustrated, I called Lowes, where I purchase the LEMON and they kindly took it away and replaced it with a new one. About 6 months into the second one, the washer somehow inhaled a pair of underwear. That's right, underwear was sucked into a tube somehow and stopped everything up. (More trips to the laundromat while waiting for repair.) Pros: Very quiet, clothes come out clean Cons: Very long cycles, seems to break down easily, long waits for repair service, clothes get all tangled up (ie: pant legs will get so tightly wound together, you have to pull them out in one lump and untie them.) Overall, I would not recommend this machine.
