I feel like I've been scammed by Whirlpool.  My Whirlpool Washer Duet and Dryer are 1 !/2 years old.  Not too long after buying it, my towels always smelled mildewed.  I tried bleach, and made sure to run a clean cycle after and then a white only wash before washing any colors, but guess what, my colors all have bleach spots!  I thought I must have done something wrong, but from the reviews I see I'm not alone.  I could live without using bleach, but the black mold around the front seal and the underside of the drum and the dispenser tray, and inside the drain hose, makes me feel sick and is ruining my clothes!  I have cleaned the water filter(which means I've soaked the floor too), burned my hand pouring hot water down the drain hose, squeezed the bottom main black accordion rubber drain (getting LOTS of gunk out), only use HE (half the recommended amount),do not use fabric softner, leave the door open between washes(ridiculs), cleaned the drain holes with q-tips, and attempted to clean the underside of the drum, because I can see the gunk all over it.  Now supposing all this works, will I have to do this every other wash just to not get mildewed clothes?  I find the "love it"  and "works great" reviews very suspicious.  Of course it took me a while to figure out it was the machine causing the problem.  AND, it takes forever for the dryer to dry clothes.  Overall, this purchase was a HUGE waste of money and I would NEVER recommend the Whirlpool Duet Washer and Dryer to anyone.

I_thumb_down Whirlpool Duet - Washer Dryer is not recommended by WhirlpoolgrowsMold
