Whirlpool Duet - Washer Dryer Review

My wife and I have been doing research on new front loading washers and dryers.  We subscribed to Consumer Reports and found their top pick.  We then went to user reviews, which were mostly completely opposite of what Consumer Reports stated.  After much research, we decided on the Whirlpool Duet HE (High Efficiency) set.  WOW!! What an amazing purchase.  We read that most front load washers were loud and shook terribly, when in the spin cycle.  When we asked the delivery technician, he told us that as long as the washer was balanced when the initial set-up took place, we shouldn't have any problems.  We have not experienced any of the shaking.  One nice thing about the HE, is that you use less detergent.  I was skeptical, at first, as the HE detergent came in the same size bottle as standard detergent, and both bottles stated they would do 96 loads.  What I didn't take into account though, was that the washer will wash double the amount of clothes per load.  My wife and I no longer have to do a load every one to two days, because now we can get an entire week's worth of laundry done in about a four hour stretch on a single day.
