Whirlpool Duet - Washer Dryer Review

I looked for over 6 months before I purchased this set.  We bought the Duet HT set and have not been disappointed at all. 

I read consumer reports as well as talked to numerous friends and sales people about the different front loading washers and dryers including all options and pros and cons.  I learned that many other brands had an issue with the seals on the washers needing to be bleached to alleviate the smell of "wet clothes" approximately 2-3 times per month.  I have had this set for 2 months and have yet to have the "wet clothes" smell occur. 

We have washed and dried up to 42 pairs of childrens size 6 and 7 jeans at once in this set and were amazed that each pair actually came clean. 

A few quick thoughts:

This washer also has no problem fitting and getting clean a king size comforter. 

We no longer have to close the laundry room door to watch television or have a conversation, they are very quiet for the power that they have.  They are not silent but definately much quieter than our last set. 

A little on the expensive side though I feel worth the money.  I have saved time and money in being able to do larger loads less frequently.  We are not using near as much water (most all of our childrens clothes are washed in hot water to ensure that they come clean) and less laundry soap.
