Whirlpool Duet - Washer Dryer Review

I got a highend Whirlpool duet washer/dryer combo in 2005. To this date, we have never had "clean" clothes since. All the whites are grey, socks still have dirt in them, I hold up white shirts to the light and you can see grey areas throughout (wonder what my colored clothes really look like!). I also have had bleaching problems...loads after I have used Oxiclean, other clothes get bleached and blotched (i am assuming from some bleach stying inside the door rubber gasket and then sloshing out). But the main problem is the dirt nver comes out. We have had six visits from repairs, a new control panel, the water tested, more soap, less soap, more clothes for friction, smaller loads, three cycles for one load, etc.....nothing works. Repairs see nothing wrong. I am going to ditch this machine...I have had enough. Some people say it cleans really well....I often wonder, is mine a lemon?
