Whirlpool Duet Sport Washing Machine Review

I purchased my Whirlpool duet sport front load washing machine about 10 month ago.  I can't say enough good things about it.  It is the first front load machine I have ever had and I won't go back to a top loader.  The machine itself does a great job of washing all types of clothes.  It also uses less water than my top load did.  The company recommends that you use high effiency detergent because you don't need all the suds that the other detergents make.  I use that detergent and my clothes come very clean.  The spin cycle does a great job and when the clothes are done they are only damp and don't take long in a dryer to dry.  The only negative thing I have to say about this machine and it doesn't bother me but the serviceman that installed it said it was best to keep the door to the washer open when not in use because if you keep it closed between washes it will sometimes get a musty smell in the washer.  I let the door open and have never noticed any odor.  I did purchase the pedestal slide shelf to go with the machine.  It makes it much easier to load and unload clothes as it makes the machine higher and you don't have to bend over.
