Whirlpool Duet Dryer Review

We purchased our Whirlpool Duet Dryer in 2007 just before I had surgery on my hip after fracturing it in an automobile accident.  Ours is a large family- an 18 year old, 17 year old, 15 years old and an 11 year old.   With all of the kids being involved in school and extracurricular activities, and my husband and I carrying on daily activities- we wash a LOT of clothes. I have worn out more washers and dryers in our twenty year marriage than I care to admit!  

In doing my research on heavy duty appliances, I noticed that the Whirlpool Duet Washer and Dryer could handle LARGE loads of clothes without taxing the system.  That seemed to be exactly what I needed.  The front loading system would also prove to be an asset.  When comparing the Whirlpool Duet products, I noted that the openings to the basket of both appliances was large and easily accessible, where in other products, the openings were small and difficult to reach into to load or unload.  Having a disabling disease process, this was a big asset for me!  The pedestals helped to make the appliances even more user friendly and less stress on my back and legs!

Not only is the dryer user friendly, but our clothing has less damage from "overdrying" that I would frequently have with regular dryers.   The efficiency of the Whirlpool Duet Washer and Dryer have made my job much easier.  The clothes are cleaner, I use a lot less water, and can wash more clothing at one time- making my time spent washing more efficient!  The Whirlpool Duet Washer and Dryer are well developed, and energy efficient for the person doing the laundry as well as conserving the electrical energy that we use.  I would encourage anyone who needs a new washer and or dryer--that they invest in the Whirlpool Duet Washer and Dryer - in investment in your health and our future!
