The Whirlpool Duet Sport is an okay dryer.
I've been using the **Whirlpool Duet Sport Electric Dryer** along with the matching washer at my husband's temporary military residence and while it's not a bad dryer, I do like the washer a little bit more. Load Capacity The dryer can accommodate the same amount of clothes that you put in the matching washer, but I don't find the matching washer to fit as much as my top loader at home. I don't dry things that didn't first go through the matching washer, but I suppose your experience might be different if you are using a washing machine other than the Whirlpool Duet Sport. Performance Even when I put the setting on high heat and for a long period of time, there are often times my clothes are not fully dry. This issue usually resides in the waistline of pants and when I am drying denim jeans. I do like the wrinkle guard feature that keeps fluffing the clothes until you take them out of the machine. That's great since I don't usually get to take them out as soon as they are done drying. Ease of Use I don't like the fact that you can't alter the minutes of a drying cycle because each cycle: normal, heavy, etc. has a pre-set amount of drying minutes attached to it. If you want to change the length of drying time, you have to use the timed minutes setting, not a drying cycle selection. Design As with the washer, I don't like the buttons because they are hard to push. I prefer the dial knob that you turn that's on the units I have at home.
