This is a review for the whirlpool duet steam dryer. My husband and I purchased it in July of 08 and it has been wonderul but I expected more. It does a great job of drying clothes and I really enjoy all the different cycles. However, the steam option does not work as well as I had hoped. It may just be our dryer but it seems to squirt water on the clothes more than provide a steam to remove wrinkles. I have pulled out shirts early to check on them that have big water marks on them.
If I had to do it over... I would still go with a Whirlpool dryer - I just wouldn't pay for the steam...

About four days ago I got a GREAT deal on a Whirlpool Duet Steam Washer and Dryer. Delivery was set and on time however......there was a STRANGE problem. The set was delivered with LEGS! Therefore, it was unable to be set up and installed. Oh no I thought, they have my money and the product has been delivered this is going to be a nightmare trying to resolve this problem. Called Sears that day explaining problem, very friendly and helpful. By that evening they had located legs for the machines and I could pick them up the next day and schedule for them to come out and set up and level...
