Whirlpool Duel Steam Dryer — 

This is a review for the whirlpool duet steam dryer.  My husband and I purchased it in July of 08 and it has been wonderul but I expected more.  It does a great job of drying clothes and I really enjoy all the different cycles.  However, the steam option does not work as well as I had hoped.  It may just be our dryer but it seems to squirt water on the clothes more than provide a steam to remove wrinkles.  I have pulled out shirts early to check on them that have big water marks on them. 

 If I had to do it over... I would still go with a Whirlpool dryer - I just wouldn't pay for the steam option.

I have had the same results. The dryer sprays water not steam onto the clothes. The term "steam" dryer is misleading.

The owner's manual says to just dry the clothes longer on a higher heat setting. (The clothes went in dry and came out wet and the wet was only on parts of the clothes).
