Whirlpool Dishwasher - Quiet Partner 1 Review

We purchased our Whirlpool Quiet Partner 1 dishwasher about 5 years ago. It was supposed to run quiet, but we find that we have to turn up the tv in the other room when it is running. It does a fair job at washing dishes, but leaves some items with food on them. This does not happen all of the time, but if we have a bigger load, then I end up putting dishes back in the dishwasher to reclean these items. Another thing that I do not care for is that glasses that come out of the dishwasher are etched, which means that they have a cloudy look to them that does not come off, it is like a permanent stain. This, I believe will not cause any harm, but it does not look nice. I have replaced glasses due to this happening, so I only put the lease expensive glasses in the dishwasher and hand wash my more expensive ones. With the money that we paid for the dishwasher, I would have expected it to be better than it is, by that, I mean, no etching on the glasses and I certainly should not have to rewash any of the dishes that come out of a full cycle. I would not recommend this product if you are looking for less work like it is supposed to be. I do like the time delay, I forgot to mention that-you can set it to run later on during the day or after you have gone to bed.
