This microwave oven was purchased to replace a GE 0.7 cubic foot one not only because the GE was dieing (power getting weaker), but also because we are in the process of changing out the white kitchen appliances to stainless steel. Also, my wife really liked the 30 second button on the old microwave and after a bit of research it turns out that very few brands have this feature. Those that do include GE, some Sharp, Whirlpool, and KitchenAid. We pruchased the Whirlpool because of the style/design (stainless steel, model MT4155SPS) and the price (KitchenAid is nice, but the microwaves are very expensive/over-priced).... review »
