Whirlpool Conquest Refrigerator —

We have had this fridge for about 5 years. My biggest complaint is the amount or the lack of space in the refrigerator. There are only 3 shelves, but it has 3 drawers. I thought the drawers would make up for the other shelf and they do not for me. I put things in the drawers and then I forget it's in there. Out of sight out of mind. It's nice that you can adjust the temperature in the drawers. This refrigerator is deep and things get lost in the back so easily.

I do love the looks of this Conquest on the outside. We bought it in the stainless and it is still just as beautiful as it was the day it was delivered.

It took me two years to learn that you do not have to replace the water filter until water will not pass through it. You do not have to replace it just because the light tells you too. That's the best kept secret out there in my opinion because we drink a lot of water and were replacing that dang filter about every 3 months at $30!

Our ice maker also stopped working after about the second year. If you will look at the "on/off button" inside the freezer there is a little light. I noticed a sequence in the way the lights blinked and knew there must be a meaning behind it so I googled it. We figured out what was wrong with it and my husband ordered the part for it and fixed it. I know everyone can't fix their own but you can use google.com and find out what is wrong with it. We have not had any other problems. We paid a lot of money for this thing so we need to do everything we can to keep it going.

I also love that it has the lock on it so that we could keep it locked while we taught the younger children not to play with it.
