Excellent washer!  HE efficiency in a top loader.  Varied settings.  What I love most is that I can preset the washer to go off hours later (convenient when you're on a well and need to watch water usage) -- this way I can put the clothes, detergent, etc. in the washer in the morning, but yet set it to go off a few hours later so that the well has had time to re-fill from everyone's morning showers.  Clothes can get a little wrinkly but I find that it's more so when I don't have a full load and have the basket set to spin too high.  The *clean* cycle run every month or so with bleach will take care of any lingering odors that can occur with any stale water sitting in the hoses in bottom of washer.  Can handle large loads (have big dogs and lots of laundry, including King comforters, rugs, etc.) and it does remarkably well with them.  Also love the "glass" see-through top so you can see your clothes being laundered (cats love it too as they often sit on top and watch). One caveat -- 3 years into owning this unit the system board blew (F1 fault). But since it apparently is a known issue, I called the company and they sent a new motherboard out free of charge. My husband knows how to hook it up so not an issue. But if you don't know how to hook up, they will send a repairman out to you to fix... just be sure that repairman is aware it's a FREE-O charge!

We purchased a Whirlpool Cabrio about 9 months ago.  We regretted the purchase from day one but felt it would be difficult to return an appliance already used.  After a week, we tried several times to talk to someone at the store where purchased.  We were given the runaround, being told that we could only speak with our salesperson (who highly recommended this model as he also had supposed purchased the same).  Oddly, our salesperson was never available when we called.  We have put up with it, never very  happy with it.  We cannot add extra water we have available because it immediately drans out and the washloads are often unbalanced.  Now it sounds like there are loose screws inside the machine.  This experience has completely turned us off of Whirlpool and Karls Appliance in Sioux City IA.

I bought a Whirlpool Cabrio Top Load Washer six months ago.  When I went to the appliance dealer, I told him I originally wanted a front loader.  But after I told him my washing habits, he suggested a top loader.  Here is why.  When I do loads, I through anything and everything into it.  Sometimes towels with sheets and clothes, sometimes white socks with blue jeans.  Just the way I am.  The top loader handles it very well.  The washes are timed so I know when my load will be done.  The only thing I have to remember is to clean the washer with Affresh once a month to keep it clean.  Really I only have to do that every 2 months.  If the load is unbalanced, it will shut off and try to adjust it on its own, or you will have to rearrange it.  Just make sure when you load it, you arrange everything so nothing is unbalanced.  I am extremely pleased with the laundry results.  Glad I chose a top loader over a front.

I have to say I regret ever getting this machine. I wash my clothes with HE detergent as recommended, but my clothes never smell clean. I have used the machine cleaner..which never remember having to do with other machines. I now have to use white vinager to help me clean my clothes. I am at the point that I am going to get rid of the machine and get an old school washer. Never had any problems with one of them. I am so disappointed in this machine. I should have done more research on machines. Would anyone like to buy it!!!!!

I don't know what I am doing wrong but this washer does not get my clothes clean. I am not talking stains, I am talking all around gardening dirt. I had the technician out, I have changed detergents. I just don't understand the great ratings.

I love, Love, LOVE (can you see my love getting bigger and bigger) this washer. It  is super strong. I feel like I can stuff it totally to the brink (even though I've never gone that far) and everything that I put in there will get totally clean and not trhown the balance off like what happened all the time when I was a kid. Seriously though, I believe I have washed something like 10 pair of jeans and maybe 14 towels and was a little apprehensive, but the whole wash came through cleaned well with no leftover detergent and nothing being too tangled. Also, it seemed to take a lot less time than my older washer. I LOVE IT!

Going into my third year with the Whirlpool Cabrio - not one issue with this machine - I totally love love love it. Saves water just like a front loader - can hold so many towels it is amazing. I would recommend this to anyone - just the perfect washer - would never change brands anyway. I think Whirlpool products are great and they never let you down.

I have to say this is not my favorite washer, but it seems to work okay.  We decided to go with a top loader because there were reports of the front loaders getting rusty after a couple of years. I enjoy the top loader and how the soap goes in on the top.  It does not have the center thing, it is a washboard type.  Some items such as my husbands pants and sheets seem to get tangled up.  There was one other issue we had and it wouldn't drain. I called and they said sometimes a sock gets sucked inside.  We took it all apart and nothing came out, but it started working again.  We haven't had any problems since.  Thank goodness.  It is hard not to see your laundry as it is being washed with the locked mechanism it has, but you can pause it to look in the washer.  It is fairly large and we can fit in quite a bit of laundry at one time.  Especially without that center thing in there. There is a lot more room.

Whirlpool Cabrio Top Load Washer WTW68000W definately has bugs.  The Pro is that it has all those cool features such as ENERGY STAR - The clothes dry a lot faster being washed by this washer.  It is a CEE Tier II energy savings which qualifies you for some kind of PGE rebate when they do offer it. It has 14 automatic cycles, Stainless steel wash basket, Care Control Temperature Management, Wool Cycle and all the other standard cycles. The cons is I always get some kind of bug, one time it stopped operating in the middle of a wash, several times I get an error "F51" every single time I try to wash a load.  It is very expensive and the customer service is of no help.  It's huge and expensive and we thought we just buy the most expensive one and should last for years, but it turns out that it is not the case.  Through out the year, I had to call customer service to come here cause it stops in the middle of cycle.  I don't recommend buying this.

Hello to everyone at Whirlpool, I probably don't have enough space here to tell you how HAPPY I'am with my Whirlpool Cabrio Washer. I have to say I never expected my husband to surprise me this week-end with my new washer. My old washer just stopped working last week. and  I was not looking forward to going to a laundry mat at all. Especially in this heat wave we are having. but, I just didn't think we could afford a  new washer this year with work being so slow. But, my husband is very smart and cost conscious about these things , and he decided , when he saw the value in having the Cabrio whirlpool  washer. He could see  it was built to save in so many ways. He felt it was the best thing to do. It would not only save money because of the large loads it could handle, but , the Cabrio washer uses much less water. So , even though it we will have to cut back on other things just for awhile. I think he could see it was a wiser decision for us to make now. I told you he was smart. As for me I just love everything about the Cabrio Washer. After I got use to the new controls it was a breeze to operate and it does a wonderful job on my clothes. And, there is one thing  I just have to you tell you how much I appreciate about the Cabrio washer, and that is the freedom in the tub. I'm so grateful to have the space in the tub. Thank you , so very much for designing this washer without the tall wash plate, or whatever you call the part that turns. I love this design and wouldn't change anything about it...Thank You for allowing me to tell you about my new washer. I 've been like a kid with a new toy all week-end. ( Needless  to say all my washing is done.)  I 'am Grateful to you for your design and thinking about  our earth and being eco friendly , you have my praise for that, and the price value for everyone ,and I have to  thank my sweet husband for deciding on the Cabrio Whirlpool Washer.
