Whirley Pop Stovetop Popcorn Popper Review

I am a popcorn lover, and it has great childhood memories of Mom popping up big kettle for all of us around the TV, or sitting around the campfire popping corn in the basket... so I just DO NOT LIKE microwave popcorn, can't abide hot air, and am not thrilled with the poppers I've been gifted with in the past... until my sister, who feels the same, gave me this fantastic stove top popper (Take note- GREAT Christmas gift, dorm gift etc for popcorn purists!) The Whirley Pop Stovetop Popper pops up a great, generous bowl of popcorn with that true old fashioned taste. It requires very little oil, the handle crank keeps the kernels rotating nicely and avoids burning without having to shake the pan, which is no good for your electric burners! And with the Whirley Pop, your Mom will NOT have fits when you burn the bottom of her good Revereware (ahhh, the memories!). The lid latch prevents burning if you overdue the amount of kernels, and this cleans up very easily, unlike larger "automatic" poppers that can't be submersed. And, don't skimp- REAL BUTTER!
