Most HelpfulMy children and I have always loved this book. It was not scary for any of them but it was fascinating. The illustrations are fabulous and the story is just right. Can not wait to read it to grandchildren! Get it for yourself and give one to every child you know.
This book has been a classic in my opinion. I can still remember being a little girl sitting in the school library for story time and this is the book they read us. I don't know which was better the story or the story teller, but I can remember being so intrigued and excited about this book!
This was one of my favorite children's' book when I was growing up. This book fascinated me when I was a kid. Where the Wild Things Are is a great story. It is amazingly illustrated in a way that will never go out of style.
I discoverd this book many years ago while taking a children's literature class. It was one that was highly recommended and one that I added to my collection of children's books. I read it to my daughter when she was little and she now has the book and has read it to her three children. They all love it, and prance about growing through the house.
The drawings are vivid and fun. Children will enjoy Max and be able to relate to him about bedtime. The book was awared the Caldacot medal which is a good recommendation for a children's book.
I love this book. The illustrations are beautiful, very detailed.
This was my favorite book when I was younger, and I can still appreciate it as an adult. Reading it just pulls you into another world. I was never much of a reader as a child, but I carried this book with me everywhere.
This will be the first book I buy when I have my first child. If for some reason they don't enjoy it, I'll be happy to have it on my bookshelf instead :)
One to add to the collection.
