    A Classic, Keeps kids entertained, Beautiful Pictures, Great story, Fantastic pictures, makes a wonderful bedtime story, Builds morals, Fabulous, not scary, opens imagination portals

Where the Wild Things Are — 

This was one of my favorite books as a child, and I still keep a copy as an adult.  It's a go-to gift whenever I learn a child in my circle doesn't own it.  Great story with memorable pictures!
