Where the Wild Things Are is a great story. It is amazingly illustrated in a way that will never go out of style. The message of the story leads to a teachable moment and can be enjoyed by readers of all ages. You won't mind reading this one with your child. Small kids who are sensitive may be bothered by the monsters, so if you are the parent of one you may want to preview it. As a classic it is available in many formats including story board, hardback and paperback and in every price range. A+++
