What-A-Burger! It's the hyphenated place. The Original.

eating out weekly, frequent diner, not rich

No problems at the Highway 29 location

not as many locations to choose from, No more fried pickles

I have been eating at the What-A-Burger since I was a kid and they sold Fried Pickles. They quit selling the pickles, and they have closed several locations. My favorite one was where the K-Mart is now. I think I got my first kiss there. I have never had a bad meal from any of them. We still eat there about 3 times a month. The What-A-Burger's aren't as big as as I remember as a kid, but they are just as good! Wash it down with a large Witchdoctor and it's a meal! They still have the best fried onion rings in town and for some folks, a CherryLemonSundrop has to be part of the meal. The best burger in town!

This brings back memories. I ate at one of these places in Houston, TX, in 1995. It's a long story but it was my first real meal in more than 24 hours and it was delicious. What a burger!
