Most HelpfulMy husband bought this Westinghouse 42" LCD television before we were married and I think he was just looking for a good deal. We have generally had really good experiences with Best Buy, but I think they should re-evaluate stocking any Westinghouse products. A year to the day after buying this...
review »We caved in and got a flat screen, HDTV, and I can't say as I'm glad we did. While this model is one of the more reasonably priced ones out there,it's still expensive. The picture is fine, but to be honest, I think the whole HD thing is mostlyhype. It looks great if you watch it mere seconds after watching good, old regular tv. There are always...
review »Had my Westinghouse - TX-42F430S for 6 months...it has a great picture for the money, in the factory settings the blacks could be better, but fiddling with the picture settings has done wonders for that.. Color is excellent, sharpness is good except for analog channels from my cable provider, yet the same channels in 480P digital looked ok so it may be the signal..digital stations all look good..and 1080I looks great in sporting events and nature programs..DVD upconverts look great and best at 720P and Blue Ray looks great in 1080P..
