We got this TV wondering if it would be as good as some other brands (sony, vizio) and it has proved to be great! The screen is huge and the picture quality is nice. The only complaint is that the stand that came with it seems a little flimsy. When we screwed the tv into the stand, it ended up being a little crooked, so we had to back the screws out to make it straight, and then the tv didn't seem very sturdy. The TV wobbles around on the stand when touched, which worries me, as the tv is so big, but we intend to hang it on the wall eventually anyway. We watch a lot of streaming Netflix and other than the stand we have really been enjoying it. I think it is comparable to 'better' brands and cheaper, so it's a win-win.
