Nice for the Price

1st Time LCD TV buyer, practical, budget conscious, a bargain hunter

I really like our 37" Westinghouse Monitor. We picked it up during an after Christmas sale for $799 and we haven't found any quality 1080p TVs that are close to that price since.

The picture quality is excellent, there are many hook-ups in the back, and it has a very attractive design. I love being able to mount it on the wall and not having it take up space. I haven't seen any TVs that are this nice for even close to the price that we paid.

I am a bit disappointed in the remote receiving ability. At first I thought it was a problem with the remote itself, but we switched to a universal remote that works great with all of our other devices but not the monitor. You need to have the remote pointed directly at the TV & only in a very small area. If you are 4 feet to the side of the TV you have to stretch your arm out to the side because it won't accept a signal from more than a 30-45* angle. I would have given the monitor a 5 Star rating if this wasn't the case, it is a really nice unit!
