Western Michigan University —
Western Michigan University has been great to me. While being a division 1 school, the football team has grown by leaps and bounds this year and has had a hand in the deal the MAC signed with ESPN for coverage of 25 games next year (2009). Westerns campus is great too. It's not amazingly big but its not a tiny campus either. Everything you need is within walking distance, or one bus ride away. Buses, rec passes, all sporting events and healthcare (with exceptions) are all offered for free here. The schools tuition prices have been lowered in the past couple of years while schools like Michigan State and Michigan have raised their prices. The only downfall would be the cold winters and hills.
