I can't say anything bad about this external hard drive. Except that maybe the desire for another one threatens my budget. I also have a Seagate (perhaps an older model) of external hard drive under the "Expansion" label. Comparing the two, the Western Digital is smaller and sturdier-looking cords and overall design. Also a more attractive exterior. It runs super cool and makes hardly a peep. Doesn't have any annoying pre-installed software. I just wish that WD's warranties were as super long as Seagates (which are 2-3 years.) When it comes to harddrives it's not a matter of *if* they'll fail but rather *when* they'll fail. The WD is not exibiting any odd behavior thusfar so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it will be able to hold this massive amount of data for quite a while.
