Western Digital My Book™ WDG1C5000N 500 GB FireWire 400 (1394a) Hard Drive Review

I have a Sony Vaio AR-170 Custom built, twenty four HUNDRED dollar POC (Piece of CRAP). If I try to put ANYTHING on there it DIES. I had to sent that stupid thing in TWICE, the first year I had it. Don't get one! The only good thing that's come out of that hunk of junk is This!
My Western Digital 500 GB External Hard drive.
Every time my stupid computer crashed, I would lose, seriously, Hundreds of pictures,
Gone. Just like that. I would have to Re Install Everything, and I mean everything!
my music, which according to my ipod is like seven days worth of continuous music play.
And putting all that music on there is no short, or quick task.
My internet, my printer, my web-cam.
EVERYTHING! NO MORE! ITS HAPPENED THREE TIMES TOO MANY!!!
Everything goes straight to this thing and I Like it that way!
Sure I have my shortcuts on my desktop for here and there, but as long as the program itself isn't on my computer, I am happy as a pig in slop.
