With a glass lid and metal, non-stick pan this slow cooker is very versatile. It can go from the stove to the oven to the base with no problem. I like the glass lid which allows me to see without lifting the lid and loosing heat. The metal handles do get hot but you have to have them for it to be oven safe. Time to Heat Heats very quickly and evenly. Cooking Performance Non stick pan. Even heating. No hot spots. Ease of Cleaning Very easy to clean. It is non-stick so metal utensils are a no-no but I have had no problems washing it. I do not have a dishwasher so I can't say how well it would do in one. As easy as it is to hand wash I would think that a dishwasher would do a fine job. Ease of Use Very easy to use. Plug it in, select the temperature and time and push cook and you're set. Design I really like the rectangular design. It fits larger cuts of meat well. Durability It is non-stick so make sure you don't use any metal utensils with it. Other than that it is very durable. I use mine at least once a week.
