I can't really find anything bad to say about this crock pot. It was a Christmas gift and I was hoping for an eight quart Hamilton Beach, so initially I was disappointed. This is only 5 quarts and that just didn't seem big enough. However, I have been pleasantly surprised! I have been able to prepare large enough meals for my family of six (including three teenagers!), and that was important to me. It has all the bells and whistles you would expect, and I find the heat even and corresponding to the settings better than most (I had one crock pot that seemed to be on high no matter what you had it set on!). It cleans, easy, too, which is also a necessity in my book. If I had a complaint, and it's a fairly minor one, it is with the lid. It seems very slightly misshapen or the wrong size or something. This means that the seal isn't quite as tight as I would like and thus, when the contents are simmering, it kind of rattles and shakes a bit. It doesn't seem to affect the function or anything, but it is a bit annoying.
