Weslo Cadence G40 Treadmill —

On sale for only $287 at Walmart, I put it on my Walmart charge card and didn't have to pay interest on it for 6 months, since it cost over $250 (if you have a Walmart card, that's just one of the perks - their customer service is great, too!).

It took two or three people to get it in and out of the car and into the house (weighs 250 lbs) and if you have a dolly it will help, but once inside it slides right out of the box with only a few pins to insert to get it up and running in 5-minutes.  It has to be plugged in to work, so keep that in mind. But, it folds up for easy storage, fits behind a door or just against the wall, and has wheels that make it easy to move around.

The large LCD Display is great and can track your speed, time, distance, calories and pulse. The heart monitor is also built into the panel and is fairly accurate.  I really like that perk.  Plus, there are four personal training workouts which vary your speed, but adjustable digital speed control buttons are also easy to use to change the speed at any second and tailor it to your personal preference/needs.  It's good for either light or intense workouts up to 10 MPH, has a sturdy belt and a bit of cushioning that eases the impact on the joints, plus an adjustable incline which allows you to increase your intensity to help with faster muscle development.  Just keep in mind that it's a manual incline adjustment that's needed and it doesn't incline automatically, but that's where you're saving your money.

Both my fiance and I have enjoyed using it for the past 6-months and have found it worth every penny.  We both walk and jog and he's 6 ft and I'm 5ft 5in.  I'm not an intense runner, but find that it's suiting my needs quite well whenever I do get my run on.

Hi, I'm 5ft 5in, and I'm not an intense runner, but when I get going it's great for me - it's a good size for me, yet it holds up to both of us really well, since my fiance is 6 ft and weighs 250 lbs and he uses it, too.

However, if it's set up at the store, make sure the belt is long enough for your stride, though, especially if you have longer legs, because you definitely need to not be kicking the front with every step, since that would be really annoying. Just a thought since I have shorter legs and Jon mainly uses it for walking and light jogging and not really at full stride.
