Who is this idiot on TV?

I had to ask the boys after I saw the pro-mos for the Wendy Williams show.

They said she has a radio show host. Hum. She should have stuck with radio. Although what she says is annoying, having to see her flip her hands around and push her wig backwards and forewards is very distracting.

The focus of the Wendy Williams show appears to be on celebrity gossip. She gets her info in the make up room and so on as she says between all the "okay" and so" fillers. She's old enough to remember the Valley Girl days, and perhaps she is having flashbacks. I don't know, but it's annoying when she throws in all those unneeded words.

Williams' acts like a total know-it-all, but she really should go back and revisit her high school grammar books. About a drawing of Michael Jackson today, she said, "This is the saddest thing I ever seen." Jackson was probably rolling over in his grave about his death being sandwiched between light gossip stories about hairstyles and fried chicken (recipe segment) along with poor grammar. The guy was odd, but he was intelligent.

It's also rather sad to see a woman in her 40s who clearly seems to think that she is still 21. Williams ragged on the new girlfriend Bill Joel picked up after leaving the cookbook queen. The new lady is 51 years old - GASP - and Wendy said the photo they showed her before the taping was "hotter." Really now, is that appropriate? The woman looked fine (and I don't know who that was in the photo), but Wendy is not that far behind her on age, and she is not that hot even with a big old wig that she goes on and on about.

I really hate the plastic fake kiss-kiss attitude and hand flapping and elevating mundane topics to major news events by pseudo celebrities like Wendy Williams. That's what you get here - a big celebration of shallow. And, the woman even has to cue her audience to do the hoot hoot thing when she comes out.
