I BOUGHT A NEW HOUSE IN 2005- FIRST MY MORTGAGE COMPANY WAS FANNY MAE-WHICH THEN SOLD IT TO WASHINGTON MUTUAL-WITHIN 1 YEAR IT WAS SOLD TO WELLS FARGO.I BECAME DISABLED SHORTLY AFTER BUYING THE HOUSE-I TORE BOTH ACHILLES TENDONS IN BOTH FEET AND WIFE IS DISABLED-SHE HAD CANCER THEN A MASSIVE HEART ATTACK. WE KEPT UP THE PAYMENTS.THEN 1 MONTH WE COULD NOT MAKE THE FULL PAYMENT SO WE SENT HALF-THEY KEPT IT BUT DID NOT APPLY IT. SO THEY SAID WE WERE 1 PAYMENT BEHIND. NOW ALL THE OTHER PAYMENTS WERE MADE ON TIME.BUT COULD NOT CATCH THE 1 PAYMENT UP FOR 3 MONTHS- IT SHOWED AT THE CREDIT BURROUGH THAT WE DID NOT MAKE ANY PAYMENTS FOR 3 MONTHS.WHEN YOU ARE BEHIND 1 PAYMENT IT CARRIES OVER TILL CAUGHT UP.SO CREDIT WENT DOWN THE TUBES. ALSO THEY WANTED TO FORECLOSE ON US.FOR 1 MONTH. WHAT A LAUGH.WE ARE CURRENT NOW BUT THEY RAISED OUR PAYMENT OVER $50 A MONTH MORE.ON A FIXED INCOME THAT HURTS. AND THEY WILL NOT REFINANCE US BECAUSE WE WERE THAT 1 PAYMENT BEHIND-BUT IT SHOWS 3 MONTHS-THEY ARE A JOKE- IF YOU CAN AVOID THEM.GO SOME PLACE ELSE.BY NEXT YEAR I WILL REFINANCE WITH A BANK OR ANOTHER COMPANY AND LOWER MY RATES. MY RATES ARE LOW NOW AT 6.5 FIXED. BUT IT CAN GO LOWER.WATCH OUT FOR WELLS FARGO.THEY WILL FORECLOSE EVEN IF 1 MONTH BEHIND BECAUSE OF THE WAY THEY HAVE IT SET UP.TERRIBLE PLACE-
