Wells Fargo Home Mortgage Review

Wells Fargo Home Mortgage stinks! Our mortgage was sold to them a few months after our very first home purchase. After a year, they raised our mortgage payment over $200 a month, they said it was based on the predicted expenditures for that year needed for escrow. I said that it doesn't make sense since our taxes should be lower since our house is worth less than half of it's worth from the previous year according to our tax assessment. I know, the market stinks, but then they said they would pay back anything overpaid at the end of the year after taxes are paid. Well, I would rather pay my own property taxes. They have the nerve to say that I can't pay my own bills. I was on the phone with them 3 times today. The first time they said I couldn't. Then I did research and found out I could so I called back. Then they said they would transfer me to someone that had authority to do it. I sat on hold for 58 minutes and 30 seconds before I hung up. Before I actually hung up, I called on my cell to let them know I was on hold. I explained the situation, and they said they'll have to put me on hold. I waited 10 minutes and hung up both lines. These people have no knowledge in their career field. No one can answer your questions. When they don't know what to do or you try to stop them from ripping you off, they say you can't do anything to your account. They are wrong. I also don't have to pay my bill. People have been doing that a lot with the economy the way it is. It's the banks fault giving out money they don't have in hopes to steal it from customers with outrageous rates and weird fees, and, raising the mortgage to supposedly cover escrow costs (it's like we are giving them an interest free loan since they have our money every month to do whatever with and then they'll supposedly give it back at the end of the year after they've earned the interest on it instead of us). We actually overpaid our escrow and never received the excess money back. Wells Fargo said they gave our money back to the bank who originally gave us the loan. seriously, thanks for giving my money that I overpaid to someone else. That makes sense. BAD Wells Fargo. Stay away from this bank unless you want poor customer service from incompetent representatives and all your money get taken from a crook.
