If you have a dog with allergies to foods or just a lousy coat and skin this is a great food to start them on. There is no corn in it and plenty of Omega 3 etc....just read the labels this also didn't wind up on the recall list so that should speak for itself. The collie pictured in this review was a Wellness Fish and Potato girl. She had a beautiful coat and wonderful skin.

We got the dog the Wellness Fish and Potato dog food thinking she would like something besides her chicken and beef based dog foods. It was a big NOPE. She usually scarfs down her food and licks the bowl clean in a fashion that would embarrass speed eaters. Not this time. She kind of smelled it and ate a few kibble by placing it outside of her bowl one at a time and chewed it slowly. Then she turned and looked up at me with a "Why did you do this to me and where is my regular food?" stare. Overall the product ingredients are good and well made for dogs just as Wellness has a reputation for but I guess my dog didn't agree with the taste. I wish I could give it more stars but I think 3 is honest. I mean I don't want to knock it down to one or two stars because my dog is finicky with it. She will eat it but just not with the vigor as say the regular wellness brand foods that have other main ingredients in it.

WELLNESS HAS TRULY DONE SO MUCH FOR MY DOGS. THEY HAVE MORE ENERGY AND THE COAT AND SKIN IS DOING SO MUCH BETTER. MY DOG EVEN HAS MORE ENERGY AND IS HAPPIER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WELLNESS ALSO HAS THE WEIGHT CONTROLLED VERSION WHICH IS AWESOME TOO!!!!!
