my cat likes them but not as much since it's pate

4

My cat loves the wellness brand, he will eat almost everything they make with no issues. He's not usually finiky but he doesn't really like the paté wet food, I don't know what it is about it he doesn't like but he will still eat these ones. He seems to like these ones anyway, especially the chicken and the salmon flavors. I would definitely recommend them for any cat that likes wet food, all of them i guess. I personally have no idea if it actually tastes like any form of chicken but it doesn't have the same pungent odor that other wet foods do. It actually smells a little like chicken, or salmon or whichever flavor. I've bought most of the flavors for my cat and they all smell similar to what it's suppose to be. Just like the dry Wellness food it has a limited number of ingredients and a lot of healthy stuff. Like i said before, my cat loves all of Wellness' stuff and this is no exception. He will stand at the counter meowing the entire time I'm trying to open it and even gets excited just seeing the can. The only reason i didn't give the highest rating is because they only have the paté, they don't have any of the chunky ones

One of the best foods I could ever feed my cats!

Wellness grain-free chicken wet food is one of the best foods that I could ever feed my cat (I have three). It has absolutely no grains, is free of preservatives, additives, and coloring, and my cats love the taste of it. I foster sick and newborn kittens on a regular basis and they come in with their coats all ratty, are underweight, and miserable little things. As soon as they can be weaned, I start them off on this exact formula, and weeks later, their coats are glossy and soft, their eyes are gleaming, and they fill out just nicely.

one of the best things you can do for your cats health

Wellness makes great food for cats, their indredidents are all real, they stay away from nasty fillers and things that dont add to the benfits if the food. This stuff has got to be my cats favourite food, it is hard ot get her to eat sometimes but she gobbles this up. She has also been diagnosed with some kidney dysfunction and this food helps keep her feeling well and healthy. I also love how Wellness gives you the option of the large (12 oz.) medium (5 oz.) or the small (3 oz.) cans depending on how many cats you have and how often you feed this. It is also great to have so many different options for flavors since the more finechy cats can get bored of one flavor. However, I do wish that Wellness could come out with a soft-chew snack that is tasty and healthy, there are many soft treats out there but none of them seem to be very healthy. For a cat like mine, 20 years old, she has a hard time chewing and digesting hard cat food so I would love to be able to leave out a bowl of soft bites without worrying about the food going bad as wet food can dry up over time. Overall this is a great product approved by both me and Shadow.

Kitty loves it

My kitty and I really like the Wellness canned cat foods.  He gobbles them up, and I appreciate that they are grain-free, of good quality, and result in a better-smelling litterbox.  The chicken variety is the easiest for my kitties to digest, and rarely results in tummy upsets.  I am happy to say that, since starting to supplement Teeny's dry food with Wellness canned, he is gaining weight and has more energy.  (He is 10 years old and has few teeth left-he was getting too thin on just dry food.)  Another nice thing for me is that the food stays soft enough to spread around a plate for him, after being refrigerated.

Wellness- Good for fussy cats

5

Let me start by explaining that my cat is a fussy eater.  She doesn't take well to most dry or canned foods.  heck, she sometimes will snub fresh chicken scraps from my dinner.  I don't know what's with her, frankly. When she went to the vet for dehydration, I knew I had to do something.  She needed to eat more wet foods.  But my problem was that she didn't want any of them.  until I tried Wellness. Just look at the label of these cans and you'll understand why they're better.  First ingredient: meat.  Second ingredient: meat.  It's not that it's "premium cat food."  it's just.... food.  real food.  Like, food that a cat would naturally eat in the wild. Long story short, I started feeding my cat Wellness and she took right to it.  It may be a little more expensive (well, a lot more expensive), but when compared to a visit to the vet for a urinary tract infection, the cost is more than worth it.

My cats LOVE Wellness chicken formula

My cats LOVE Wellness Chicken formula canned food.  They get really excited when they hear the can opening.  In fact, they love any flavor of canned food from Wellness.  I actually like to switch between different flavors of food so they don't get tired of anything.  Wellness Chicken formula is really healthy and good for cats.  It is grain-free and has no gross by-products.  I started feeding my cats Wellness canned food a couple of months ago because they looked thin and their coats of fur looked dull.  After only a couple of days, their fur looked pretty, shiny, and soft.  They look healthier when they eat Wellness canned food.  Another big plus about Wellness is that it doesn't smell bad.  I don't notice any gross cat food smells around the cat bowl.  The only problem I have with Wellness canned food is that it is expensive.  I can't afford to feed them this food all of the time, but when I do they appreciate it.

Wellness chicken cat food is great for my cat.

Wellness chicken formula is a canned food, that is to be feed along with dry food. I have read that canned food is a neccesity to mix with dry food, as cats need a high water intake. I am not sure who researched this, and if there is any validity to it, as I have previously feed my cats simply dry cat food and they did fine, so i guess more research, and looking at who is doing the research would be nice. But I do not buy the canned food to mix with the dry food daily. It simply is too costly to be feed daily. On that note, if you are going to feed a canned food, even just as a snack, I do want a good quality food, and I have grown to trust Wellness brand. It is high in protein, and very imnportantly no grains. The first ingredients listed on the can are all meats! WHat a difference from other canned or even dry food that contain by product meals, I trust wellness and recommend to others, my cat loves it alot. Good stuff.

High Quality cat food for not too high of a price

After having a couple of cats go through some digestive issues that ultimately led to them passing on I became much more deligent in my choice of cat food.  After spending quite some time researching and I narrowed it down to a couple of different brands of cat food and Wellness Chicken formula was one of them. It has a very good level of protein content from good protein sources (no by-products) and more closely represents a cat's natural diet.  It also is grain free, which grain is terribe for a cat's digestive health. It comes in the larger 12oz can variety which is hard to find in a better quality cat food such as this, which is why I use it as oppoed to a couple of other brands (Merrick and Avoderm) that have a largest size at 5.5 oz. The only drawback thathas occured is that it has made the feces of a couple of my cats more pungent.  So Iam not sure if I will continue to use it or look for another alternative.

Wellness chicken is always a winner

Wellness chicken formula canned cat food is a favorite with our cats.  In particular, our oldest cat is very fond of it, and he is hard to please.  We buy our cat food by the case, making stock up trips about every 6 months.  We usually buy a couple 12 can cases of the chicken.  We can't run out of one of their favorite foods! Wellness cat food is really healthy.  The chicken formula is grain free, a real plus since cats use fats for energy and have no real use for carbohydrates, which just cause them to put on extra pounds.  It contains quality protein, fruits and vegetables, and no meat by products, rendered animal fats, or artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives.  A lot of other cat foods have grains as the first ingredient.  Wellness chicken flavor lists chicken and chicken liver first, and, of course, it contains no grains. To make it more economical, I recommend buying the large cans by the case.  If you can't use a whole large can at once, freeze part of it for later use.
