Weight Watchers Strawberry Yogurt —

To the Point

It's now back to Weight Watchers after having lost 6 pounds in two weeks on Atkins. I will be comparing these diets. In the meantime I eat almost exclusively Weight Watchers food primarily because it is just easy to do so. It's not the healthiest way to eat as you'll see. I bought eight Weight Watchers Yogurts. One of my least favorite so far is the Strawberry flavor.

A Closer Look

It's not the color - pink - that bothers me. It's not the consistency that bothers me. In fact the consistency is creamy. It's sweet so that doesn't bother me.

What's bad is that there really is no taste of strawberry. You'll find a piece or two of what I assume are strawberries and maybe a few seeds but otherwise - nada - nothing that would tell me this is strawberry if I hadn't read it on the container.

What is really great on the other hand is that for 1 point (For those who don't know the system I can eat about 22 points a day.) I can have a quick snack which will satisfy my sweet tooth.

This is a 6-ounce container. They were on sale for $5.00 for the 8 containers. That's really inexpensive but remember it is a smaller container than many and you won't pay the extra price for quality ingredients.

Each 6-ounce serving will give you 100 calories; 0.5 grams of fat; 17 grams of carbohydrates; 12 grams of sugar; 110 grams of sodium; and 6 grams of protein.

The first few ingredients are: milk fat and nonfat mik, fruit base (strawberries, crystalline fructose, inulin, fiber, and strawberry flavor with other natural flavors; ....red 40) and some ingredients I can pronounce and some I cannot. Other than the huge amount of sugar and the added color the ingredients aren't as bad as some other Weight Watchers foods.

The Weight Watcher's Strawberry Yogurt doesn't taste bad but I wouldn't buy it again. It's not as good as others I've had.
