Nice chicken dinner

5

Weight Watchers Smart Ones Chicken Parmesan is a really good dinner. It includes a chicken breast-a real and genuine-not fake meat, seasoned with Italian herbs. It rests on spaghetti noodles covered in Marinara sauce. The sauce tastes decent. It's not the best or the worst. The dish is covered in a delicious Mozzarella cheese sauce. I found this to be a very satisfying and tasty meal. Sometimes I make a small salad to go with it. My biggest praise is that the chicken is seasoned well and is actually a real breast!

One of my favorite meals!

I love chicken parmesan but is always really difficult to eat the day after making it. The breading is usually soggy and the chicken gets overcooked when reheating. That's why the Weight Watcher's Smart Ones Chicken Parmesan is my go to meal when I'm craving chicken parmesan but I don't want to go through all the hassle to make it. It tastes very similar to the homemade version I make, and cooks relatively quickly. This entree is affordable, and there is just enough food included to fill you up, without overstuffing you. This is delicious!

Well worth trying!

Overall, I think this is a pretty good WW meal. Chicken parmesan is one of my favorite dishes (at Italian restaurants), so I didn't have very high expectations from a frozen diet dish. BUT, it's actually tasty, filling and easy to make. Very time/cook sensitive - so watch your time and/or know your microwave strength (overcooking makes it very tough and chewy). If you can get the cooking down, it's a satisfying meal & has good flavors to it.

A really great way

Weight Watchers Smart Ones Chicken Parmesan is a really great way to end a stressful day. It is not the classic - breaded, fried chicken breast cutlets smothered in zesty marinara sauce and cheese over the highest carb pasta possible from little Italy. It is some of that and a little bit more. This time around when you are indulging, it will be completely guilt free and pleasureful. The chicken breast is not breaded. It is also seasoned - possibly marinated to perfection. The pasta it is laid on top of is lower in carbs and fat and is portion controlled. The cheese and tomato chunks add some bulk to the already filling meal. The marinara sauce is seasoned in a very savory way as well. When you bring it all together - you've got reduced calorie stress relief in a bowl. My kind of party!

So good!

I always miss the carbs and proteins of Italian food when I'm on a diet, so this was perfect! There was just enough protein to be filling, and the cheese was something I was definitely craving! The carbs of the spaghetti really hit the spot and the whole meal was so low-calorie! I really enjoy this meal!

Best frozen meal!

This is one of my very favorite frozen meals. I probably buy one at least every week. It is very tasty and it is so good for being a frozen meal you just microwave in a couple minutes. It is very quick and easy. It saves a lot of time for dinner and it tastes good too.

Not bad for a diet meal

This is one of the few Weight Watchers meals that I enjoy.  I don't like a lot of ingrediants and this is perfect:  cheese, chicken, sauce and pasta.  It is very cheesy and tasteful.  My biggest complaint is sometimes the serving of chicken is very tiny and sometimes the chicken has some fatty parts on it.  I always hate to get a bite of those.  Otherwise I would totally recommend this to anyone who loves pasta and Itialian but also has to watch what they eat! Some of the other reviews said that the portion was too small and skimpy to really make a meal. I would disagree.  It seemed the perfect size for me.  If I need a little more I add a couple of pieces of garlic toast made with spray butter and low fat bread.  It might not be quite enough for dinner time but I find it to be more than enough for a lunch.  It is also quick and portion controlled which is very important if you are a busy mom on a diet.  Which I usually am!

the chicken is very moist and tender

4

I have tried all of the smart ones meals and the chicken parmesan is actually one of my favorites. The chicken breast is moist and tender. It is clear that it is real chicken and not a processed meat imitation. The sauce is not so thin that it doesn't stick to the spaghetti. The taste of the sauce is a little bland, but I fix that by adding a bit of garlic, onions, salt and pepper and shake on just a dash of parmesan cheese. The spaghetti is a little more than al dente, but deinitely edible. It is very filling and quite tasty for its points value. I have to hide my chicken parmesan under the other meals as it seems to disappear faster than some of the other meals.Occasionally I will serve the chicken parmesan to the entire family, adding a tossed salad and some garlic toast, turning it into a quick, delicious, economical, and balanced italian dish the entire family truly enjoys. In fact, my family always gets excited when they find out its for dinner.

Smart ones chicken parmesan is tasty and delicious.

I first tried Smart one about 5 years ago after trying every low fat, low cal frozen entree on ther market.I have found them to be delicious and as close to  home made as you can find. The chicken parmesan rates right up there as one of the best. The sauce is very good and the chicken patty is only lacking in crispyness.I would recommend this entree to most anyone except maybe an Italian.

Italian for dieters

I first had these in October, and I can't say enough good things about them.  The portion is HUGE for the amount of points it costs (only six), and it really fills you up.  The pasta is tender and not too mushy, while the chicken is firm and moist.  The sauce is vey good, with chunks of tomato and good seasoning too.  I believe it has parsley and oregano.  They are a bit pricey if you don't get them on sale, and I think a lot of other people must like them too because they can be hard to find.  Also, mind the sodium content because it is high, just like all frozen meals.  Watch how long you cook it, because if you have a microwave that cooks hot, yhou can end up with crispy noodles around the edges or burned sauce and tough chicken.  I think this is a great dinner meal, just add a zero or one point vegetable and you've had dinner for under seven points!  The sauce is really hot when it comes out of the microwave, so be careful!
